Planning Institute of Australia
Di has been Chief Executive Officer of the PIA for 4 years. PIA is the national professional association for urban and regional planners, and associated professions.
PIA has around 5000 members about half of whom work in public sector and half in private sector roles. PIA plays a policy and advocacy role for the profession and is also a provider of continuing professional education services.
Di has a background in public policy, corporate governance, public affairs and government relations, spanning some 20 years. Before joining PIA, Di was a senior executive in a large commercial organisation and has also held senior management positions in Federal statutory bodies.
Di is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and currently represents PIA on the boards of the Building Design Professionals, the Australian Construction Industry Forum and the Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council.
